Discernment

It is tempting to equate cost with value, but the true measure of value is quality.
Some of the most valuable and luxurious things are unexpected.
While we expect the more expensive items to be the best, that is not always true. Sometimes you are paying for the name, the label, or even the presentation, over the actual product.
If you blind taste tested tequila, for instance, would you pick the most expensive one?
Now, if you could blind taste test everything, would you still buy the most expensive car when the seats are uncomfortable.
Discernment is not about the most expensive. It is about knowing what is the best value.
